Classroom Instruction You must complete at least 24 hours of classroom instruction at least 4 hours must be completed before starting the driving component. Let it be noted that there currently are no additional costs associated to supplies, books, workbooks, replacement certificates, etc. However, if there is a Behind the Wheel Drive BTW scheduled, check with your BTW instructor to see if the drive will still take place or be rescheduled.
Life Drivers Training does adult driving lessons in most locations. For questions regarding Segment 1, Segment 2, or the Road Test, call 517 351-0064. The was developed to provide driver education instructors and providers with a detailed framework of the concepts, objectives and standards students will need to master to successfully meet the goals of Segments 1 and 2. Students need to bring a notebook, pen, and birth certificate.
Drivers Ed in Michigan - Segment 2 is a 6-hour classroom course that will provide you with more in-depth and specific information about best driving practices.
If the building is closed, E-Z Way will not hold class. Our OCTOBER 2018 through MAY 2019 class schedules are NOW available! Please be aware the dates and times are TENTATIVE upon approval of schools. Please be aware that class dates may change and we will try to keep you informed of these changes. When you call, we will give you all the class details and your chance of being placed on the active class roster. All KALAMAZOO AREA PARENT MEETINGS are held at the E-Z Way Trestlewood Building EZW , 5060 Lovers Lane, Portage, MI 49002. Parent meetings start on the hour and generally last about 1 hour although you are free to leave at any time. Parent meeting times will be announced when reminders are sent out. This is an opportunity for parents to make a payment for the class, sign the Contract and Registration form, sign up for Range driving times, and present the student's birth certificate. Parent meetings are an optional event. Students do not need to attend with parents. Contracts are available at the Parent Meeting or on Day 1 of each class. Online payments are available. Online payment does not guarantee placement in a class. To make a partial payment using a Credit Card, please call our office at 269 372-3300 or 1 800 354-0111. Customers making a payment prior to signing a contract may be assessed a service fee if they find it necessary to withdraw from a class prior to the class start date. E-Z Way reserves the right to change dates and times of classes. Classes are open to students in all school districts. You may enroll in the class location that is the most convenient for you. This is an opportunity for parents to make a payment for the class, sign the Contract and Registration form, sign up for Range driving times, and present the student's birth certificate. Payment is due upon registration for these classes. When you turn 18 years old, you will have successfully completed the graduated license program. The was developed to provide driver education instructors and segment 1 drivers training with a detailed framework of the concepts, objectives and standards students will need to master to successfully meet the goals of Segments 1 and 2. Please note: This course does not constitute as the state-required, 24-hour classroom training. The first segment consists of 30 hours of instruction: 24 in the classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. In addition to the convenience, you also have the luxury of logging on and learning when your brain is ready. Students need to be 14 years 8 months on the first day of class to take Segment 1.
