Pros Automatic driver update checks: Nvidia produces a new set of drivers every few weeks, but you don't have to look for them -- the software automatically checks for updates. Automatic checks are good for security, since out-of-date software is a major access point for malware, and updates also get you new drivers that add support for new games. Respectable video recording and broadcasting features: Though not as extensive as professional-grade video recording and broadcasting, ShadowPlay is impressive for a free product. You can leave it on all the time, or tell it to save up to the last 20 minutes of activity, and you can set a variety of quality levels. Cons Not fully optimized for GTX 480 cards yet. Summary A a diehard serious gamer that plays extremely demanding games and sims I find the product not tuned right yet. Cons There is nothing that I don't like about this product. Summary I had never even heard of nvidia before a couple days ago when a Dell employee was trying to see why my new computer wasn't working right. All it needed was a couple of your drivers to get my programs working properly. The people at Dell must know that your products are reliable and good. Now I know that too. Keep up the good work! Was this review helpful? Cons - Doesn't work. I recently installed Windows 7 64 bits. All the devices were correctly recognized, except the video card and monitor. After downloading 121 MB of drivers why so much?? I think that been a so heavy file, it could at least provide a kind of scanner for components with a quick link to download the correct one. Hey Cod-I have the same MOBO running Win 7 64 with AMD quad 9750 with a nvidia 9800GT. Dump File : 112209-23992-01. In my experience, this is caused by the card overheating. Anyhow, if you get the chance to try out my solution, even temporarily, let me know if it works for you. The reason im persistent in testing your GPU first is that, if you go ahead and buy a new one its going to cost you a lot of £ so better rule it out. Once the installation is complete, you'll now be able to enjoy maximum performance gaming and rest assured that you're safe from security threats and system crashes due to graphical errors.
